Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Turkey, a students association for Indonesian students in Turkey, which establish as a platform for the students to gather along with self – developing. As a student association, PPI also has a mission to provide information for the students in Indonesia in order to encourage them to pursue their study in the country with two continents. University Muhammadiyah of Yogyakarta (UMY) as a young and global university with its internationalization has succeeded to support its alumnae to compete in the international world.

Therefore, UMY supported Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Turkey to held PPI Turkey Visit on Saturday (1/10).  Took Place at Mini Theater Language Center UMY, PPI Turkey visit held The Scholarship seminar with the theme “MUDA MENDUNIA DI NEGERI 2 BENUA” as both of the speakers are UMY’s alumnae who are the awardee of the Türkiye Scholarship Burslari.

The event was opened directly by the Head of Administrative Cooperation of UMY, dr. Farindira Vesti Rahmasari, M.Sc. She revealed her big appreciation towards this event.

“This agenda is really great and helpful for those who need the information about scholarship in Turkey, especially when the information comes directly from the awardee of the Scholarship itself, ” She said. Gesta F Nurbiansah, as the UMY’s alumnae outright the President of PPI Turkey 2019 later shared about the insight of Turkey, starting from its language, culture, and then proceed to the scholarship itself. Adli Hazmi, the other speaker also shared some tips to survive in Turkey.

The enthusiasm towards this agenda was huge. It can be seen from the many participants who willingly joined this agenda. The hype of the agenda also can be seen from the inundate questions from the participants about the scholarship.

After the QnA session, the agenda later closed with photo sessions.
